Costas Savvides holds a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from QMW of the University of London & a Master's degree in International Transport from the College of Cardiff in Wales. Costas has experience in the shipping industry, including operations, chartering & maritime claims, since 1997. He joined Sea Pioneer in January 2019, after having held senior executive positions in two well known & established Greek ship management firms for almost 20 years.

Leon holds a Bachelor degree in Naval Architecture from Glasgow University & a Master’s degree in Marine Engineering from Newcastle University upon Tyne. Up till now, he has held the positions of superintendent engineer and Assistant Technical Manager. Fourteen years of experience have given him extensive knowledge in the maritime technical field and have led him back to Sea Pioneer in 2016, where he first started his career.

Michael Papalis joined Sea Pioneer in January 2023. Throughout his career, he has specialized on the area of maritime operations serving the industry on various capacities, types of ships and companies. Prior to his engagement on the shore side operations of the industry, he has gained valuable experience on board vessels of major oil transport shipping companies. Michael holds an unlimited deck officer’s certification from the USCG, a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Marine Transportation and a Master’s degree in International Transportation Management from State University of New York, Maritime College.

Captain Dimitrios graduated from the Merchant Marine Academy of Aspropyrgos & since then he has 10 years of seagoing experience on tanker vessels up to Master rank & 5 years of shore shipping experience at Vetting and Safety Management department with a basic scope the preparation of ships for vetting/CDI inspections and ISM/ISPS compliance. He joined our Company in January 2019.

Ersi joined Sea Pioneer in 2001. She carries a Bachelor Degree in Law, as well as a Master in Law from the University of Lille. Prior to joining Sea Pioneer she was a deputy DPA in another Greek Shipping company that was managing tankers & bulk carriers.
