George joined our company earlier this year, after having headed the Greek Navy's Architect / Engineering Systems Dept., responsible for the supervision of the construction of Fast Attack Crafts and Submarines. George carries a Naval Engineer's degree from MIT, as well as a Master in Ocean Systems Management.

Nikos Katsipis started his career at sea in 1966, rising to the level of Chief Engineer. He subsequently joined another Greek company, first as a Chief Engineer, and subsequently as a Sup Engineer, attending among other things the construction of new buildings in China and Turkey. Nikos joined Sea Pioneer in 2001 and is currently spending most of his time in China, supervising the construction of the product tankers being built at GSI.
